Welcome to TheBraids&StylezBar! Please carefully review all policies before booking. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. AGE REQUIREMENTS You must be 18 years or older to book an appointment. Parents or legal guardians must book appointments for minors. Hair services are available for children ages 5 and older. FORMS & WAIVERS All required forms and waivers must be completed and signed before your appointment. Failure to complete the required documents may result in appointment cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit. DEPOSITS & BOOKING A $28 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Your deposit will be applied toward your final service balance. MORNING APPOINTMENTS All knotless braids, Bora Bora braids, and box braid appointments must be scheduled during morning hours. Appointments booked outside morning hours will not be confirmed. HAIR INCLUDED Braiding hair is included with applicable braid services in natural colors 1, 1B, 2, and 4. Boho styles include 100% human hair when specified in the service description. HAIR PREPARATION SHAMPOO SERVICES ARE NOT OFFERED. All clients MUST arrive with their hair freshly shampooed, conditioned, completely dry, thoroughly detangled, and properly blow-dried from roots to ends. Hair must be free of excessive oils, products, and buildup. A $25 preparation fee will apply if hair is not properly prepared. Excessive tangling or buildup may result in appointment rescheduling. BRAID TOUCH-UPS Clients MUST take down, wash, blow-dry, and thoroughly detangle all sections being refreshed BEFORE arriving for their appointment. All remaining braids must stay intact. Take-down and shampoo services are NOT included. Failure to arrive properly prepared may result in additional fees or rescheduling. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. • Cancellations within 48 hours: 30% of the service cost. • No-shows: 50% of the service cost. • Two or more last-minute cancellations or no-shows may require full payment when booking future appointments. All deposits are non-refundable. Any applicable cancellation or no-show fee will be calculated with the deposit already paid credited toward that fee. LATE ARRIVALS Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. A 15-minute grace period is allowed. • 0–15 minutes late: No additional fee. • 16–20 minutes late: $25 late fee, if the appointment can still be accommodated. • More than 20 minutes late: Appointment canceled and considered a no-show, subject to the 50% no-show fee. Please communicate any delays before your appointment. Notification does not guarantee accommodation. NO EXTRA GUESTS For the comfort, privacy, and safety of all clients, ONLY the person receiving the service is allowed. No additional guests, children, or visitors are permitted.
